** A dormitory admission fee of 56,000 yen will be charged in addition to the monthly rent.
*** Off-Campus Student Residences and Apartments can be arranged through ICU Service Co., Ltd. For further information, please check their website.
**** Shiki-kin (refundable deposit), rei-kin (non-refundable key money) and other fees such as water, gas, and electrical utilities will be usually charged additionally.
***** Most Japanese apartments are unfurnished.

3. Living Expenses

Living expenses(including food and not including housing costs) 50,000 - 60,000 YEN (per month)
Books and Supplies 8,000 - 10,000 YEN (per month)
Transportation (within Tokyo ) If you live on campus and take buses to and from the nearby train station, it costs 220 yen one way and 440 yen round trip. If you live off campus, it varies greatly, depending on where you live.
Insurance* Mandatory National Health Insurance: 8,000-9,000 YEN per year
Optional Non-Japanese Student Accident Insurance:6,000 YEN per year
