Service Korea 1953. Awarded Silver Star, CBI, Purple Heart (2), service ribbons. Appointed Lay Missionary of The Episcopal Church, USA, November, 1957. Invited by Nippon Sei Ko Kai for service in Japan, June, 1958 to June, 2000. Served ICU as member of Board of Directors, English Language Secretary, 1990 to 2000, and member of Board of Councillors, to 2000.
