2nd International Training Workshop for Psychotherapy Case Seminar Featuring Response-Construction Training
Program Organizer
Hidefumi Kotani
Professor, ICU Graduate School, Division of Education
Director, ICU Institute for Advanced Studies of Clinical Psychology

While it was a challenge to begin this program last year, difficulty breeds courage and friendship. Our first international collaborative training workshop for younger psychotherapists was a considerable success. Faculty colleagues from the U.S, Taiwan, and Japan enjoyed working together and learning from each other. Above all, trainees from the U.S., Taiwan and Japan were excited about their insight that psychotherapists learn a lot beyond the traditional constraints of culture and academic specialty.
On the occasion of the 2nd International Training Workshop for Psychotherapy (ITWP) this year, we are pleased to have specialists join us from Austria, Israel, Australia, Taiwan, the U.S. and Japan. As this workshop is linked to the 13th Annual Conference of the International Association of Dynamic Psychotherapy, we will be able to benefit from the presence of distinguished colleagues willing to contribute their experetise to our workshop.
This will mean more opportunities for young psychotherapists to study with senior professionals in the field. Come and take advantage of this training opportunity and the chance to meet new colleagues and friends from around the world.
