Request for graduates to register as Career Supporters

Since the Act on the Protection of Personal Informationtook effect in 2005, the Placement Office has been requesting alumni to register as “Career Supporters.” Career Supporters provide information to assist students in choosing their future career paths.
So far 3,600 alumni have registered, anda number have provided their support in various ways, such as assisting witha range of events and seminars and meeting with students to provide advice. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who have provided their support.

We can imagine that those alumni who provide this assistance to support students in selecting their career choices are doing so despite busy schedules. Students do also seem to be taking this into account when contacting alumni, but if your busy schedule makes it difficult for you to find an appropriate timing or location to meet with a student, please do not hesitate to make that clear. We hope that you will continue to provide your support for years to come, so please feel free to only accept a level of commitment that is reasonable for you.
We look forward to your continued support in providing guidance tostudents deciding their career paths.
