2015年5月22日（金）に本学より名誉学位を授与された本学1期生で、2015年3月までJICUF理事長の職にあった、Dr. Yasuyuki Owada (大和田康之氏)が、スティール献学60周年記念教授のクラス「日本の歴史とICU」にゲスト・スピーカーとして登壇し、ICUの歴史を通して思うことを、広く後輩の在校生、教職員に語りかけてくださいました。

On May 22, ICU granted an honorary doctorate degree in the humanities to a member of the university’s first graduating class, Dr. Yasuyuki Owada, who was Chair of the Japan ICU Foundation’s Board of Trustees until March this year. On May 28, he gave a talk about his views on ICU’s history to students behind him, faculty and staff as a guest speaker at ICU 60th Anniversary Professor William Steele’s class “Situating ICU in Modern Japanese History.”
