About Our Lab
当研究室について
We operate our own Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) PromethION 2 Solo, providing us with the capability to perform large-scale long-read sequencing in-house. Established in 2024, we aim to elucidate the mechanisms of epigenomic regulation and three-dimensional genome architecture underlying mammalian oocyte and early development. By integrating long-read sequencing technologies with mathematical modeling, we explore complex biological phenomena from multiple perspectives.
Our research infrastructure includes:
・Large-scale long-read sequencing using the PromethION 2 Solo, owned and operated by our laboratory
・High-performance computing systems for advanced mathematical modeling and large-scale data analysis
・Embryo culture systems and access to common animal facility within the university

当研究室は Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) PromethION 2 Solo を保有・運用し、長鎖シーケンス解析を独自に実施できる体制を整えています。哺乳類卵胞細胞と初期発生を支えるエピゲノム制御や3次元ゲノム構造の仕組みを明らかにすることを目指し、2024年に新設された研究グループとして、長鎖シーケンス技術と数理モデルを統合する環境のもと、複雑な生命現象を多角的に探究しています。
