リーガー・オルガンに感謝する会
Commemoration of the
Rieger Organ
ICU チャペルのリーガー・オルガン奉献45周年を記念して、2015年10月11日（日）、ダイアログハウスで「リーガー・オルガンに感謝する会」が開催されました。新旧の大学関係者が数多く集う中、オルガニストとして長年奉仕された植田義子氏とオルガン設置当時から長い関わりを持つ東ヶ崎茂氏がスピーチに立ち、金澤正剛名誉教授（音楽学）は、ICU チャペルで演奏した国内外の多くのオルガニストたちについて思い出を語りました。現役の3 名のオルガニスト、菅哲也氏、岩崎真実子氏、徳岡めぐみ氏もスピーチを行い、卒業生の椎名裕美氏（ID 04）は、大学でオルガン演奏を学んだ頃を振り返りました。最後に、チャペルで記念撮影を行い、次の機会に期待しつつ、イベントを終了しました。
東ヶ崎茂氏は、2015年11月にご逝去されました。ここに謹んでお悔やみを申し上げます。
On 11th October 2015 an event was held in ICU’s Dialogue House to celebrate 45 years of the university chapel’s Rieger organ. The event was attended by many current and previous members of the university community. Speeches were given by Yoshiko Ueda, a previous university organist, Shigeru Togasaki, who has had a long association with the ICU organ, and the previous music professor Masakata Kanazawa who remembered the many organists from Japan and around the world who have performed at ICU. ICU’s three current organists, Tetsuya Kan, Mamiko Iwasaki, and Megumi Tokuoka also gave speeches, and ICU alumna Yumi Shiina reminisced about learning the organ at the university. The event finished with a visit to the university chapel for a commemorative photo. We look forward to many more years of musical events on the ICU organ.
Mr. Shigeru Togasaki passed away in November, 2015.
